Updating Your Browser

Browser iconsWhat is a web browser?

A web browser is a program on your computer that you use to access websites on the internet. There are different kinds of browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera but they all do the same basic thing.

Not sure what browser you’re using or what version? Visit Google’s WhatBrowser.org to find out and learn more.

Why update your browser?

Technology advances and improves as time goes on. Internet Explorer was released in 1995 but late last year version 11 was released. A lot of improvements have been made within those 11 versions and 18 years. New browser versions will save you time and help keep you secure online. Internet Explorer 11 claims to be the fastest browser as of October, 2013. No one wants to waste time, right? If that’s not enough reason then consider that newer browsers will allow you to do more online. We’re not saying you should use Internet Explorer 11, but we do suggest using an up-to-date browser.

Updating your browser will make sure your experience on our new website (coming soon) is the best it can be. Let’s not forget that updating your browser will also give you the best experience possible in Online Banking and other websites.
